Water of life

Though dictionary.com doesn’t seem to give much of a hoot about it, there is a difference between “whisky” and “whiskey.” Whisky is mostly used to describe the scotch spirit whereas whiskey is the American or Irish stuff. If you’re going to pluralize the word, whisky turns into whiskies and whiskey becomes whiskeys. All versions of the word start to look funny the more you look at them. As does this fellow:
