Word of the day for Wednesday, October 6th

For today’s word, let’s go back to this book of endangered words from the 1800s that my mom got me. It’s a verb, but I think I’m going to appropriate this and change it into a noun meaning “a particularly unsatisfying midday meal.”

Glunch really means “to frown,” but pretty much the only person who knows that meaning is WH Auden. And he’s dead.
