Tonight you should be sure to check out the moon as it rises in the sky, because not only is tonight the June full moon (also known as the strawberry moon, flower moon, rose moon, hot moon, planting moon, and wat poornima; sheesh, June moon, you have more nicknames than Sean Combs), but it is so close to the longest day of the year that it is known as the summer solstice moon. And that means that the moon is going to be huge. And the best part? Nobody really knows why.
So grab a bunch of crackers and a good cheese knife and snack out.
If you’re in Mexico, however, remember to watch out for werewolves. Not only are they especially prevalent during a full moon, but Mexican werewolves love to steal cheese.
